On 20 January 1997, while Barangay ARTURO ISON was presiding a meeting at the Barangay Hall at Batasan Hills, Quezon City. He was shot by a man. According to the witnesses who were inside the barangay hall, the Subject fled after the shooting on board a stainless jeepney. The assailant was later identified as NESTOR OROLLO. A case Murder was filed before the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
